A career built through detours.

I've spent more than 15 years building software, working with databases and cloud technologies, and gradually finding my way from application development into backend engineering, MongoDB, and the developer community.

The journey

I didn't follow a perfectly planned path into software engineering. My career has moved through application development, database administration, infrastructure, backend engineering and cloud.

Each transition introduced something new — technologies, problems, people and ways of thinking. Many of those detours eventually became some of the most valuable parts of my career.

Today, alongside building software, I spend a significant part of my time exploring MongoDB, sharing what I learn, speaking at community events and contributing to the developer community.
